How it works

Safe by design, from start to finish.

Every step of the Heidi experience is built around your safety and dignity.

For clients

01

Sign up & verify

Create an account and verify your identity through Persona — takes about 2 minutes. Every Heidi client is verified before they can browse providers.

02

Start with a $20 Meet

Every new client-provider pairing begins with a mandatory Meet session — 30 minutes, public location, $20. Meet your provider in person before committing to anything longer. Either party can decline to continue, no penalty.

03

Book a session

After your Meet, all session tiers unlock with that provider. Choose your length (60, 90, or 120 min), set your touch preferences, and complete the boundary agreement before confirming.

04

Session

Your provider arrives. The 'I need help' button is visible on every screen throughout your session. Automated check-in at 45 minutes for sessions over an hour — if you don't respond within 10 minutes, our team is alerted.

05

Review

Leave a rating after every session. Anonymous reviews help other women find the right provider. A safety check is included — if anything felt off, you can file an incident report directly from the review flow.

For providers

01

Submit an application

Write a personal statement explaining why you want to do this work and how you approach boundaries. We read every application individually — answers that sound transactional or minimize the nonsexual policy do not move forward.

02

Identity & background check

Government ID verification through Persona, followed by a Checkr background check — national criminal history plus sex offender registry across all 50 states. Any sex offense is a permanent rejection, no exceptions.

03

Social media review

Our team reviews your public profiles for patterns inconsistent with Heidi's values — misogynistic language, sexual content, boundary violations. Findings are documented regardless of outcome.

04

Video interview

A 20–30 minute call with our team. We ask how you handle unclear boundaries, how you respond to a distressed client, and what your understanding of Heidi is and is not. Disqualifying answers include minimizing the nonsexual policy or any sense this is a path to romantic connection.

05

Complete training

Read and acknowledge Heidi's onboarding training — consent, boundary-setting, how to safely end a session, and reporting requirements. This is required before your listing goes live.

06

Go live

Your profile is activated. Clients find you by service type and availability. You accept bookings on your schedule and set your own hours.

Safety

Every layer of protection

Mandatory $20 Meet session

Every new client-provider pairing starts with a public, 30-minute Meet before any private or longer session is possible. This is a structural safety feature — not optional, not waivable.

ID verification

Every provider verifies their identity through Persona before their profile goes live. Every client is verified before they can book.

Criminal background check

Full national criminal history plus sex offender registry search on every provider. Any sex offense is a permanent rejection.

"I need help" button

Visible on every screen during an active session. One tap opens three options: immediate operator alert (within 30 seconds), session end, or incident report.

Automated check-ins

At 45 minutes into any session over 60 minutes, the app checks in. No response within 10 minutes triggers an automatic operator alert with your location and emergency contact.

Boundary agreements

Touch preferences, topics to avoid, and the nonsexual services policy are confirmed by both parties before every booking — not just at signup.
