Become a companion

Be the kind of support most people never knew they could ask for.

Heidi companions provide nonsexual emotional presence and practical support for women navigating hard moments. This is meaningful, professional, and clearly structured work.

Express Interest

The role

What a Heidi companion actually does.

A Heidi companion shows up. You accompany clients to appointments, sit with them through difficult emotions, or simply provide calm human presence during stressful situations. You listen more than you speak. You respect agreed boundaries without needing reminders. You represent Heidi's values in every interaction.

Appointment accompaniment

Accompany clients to medical procedures, specialist appointments, and clinical visits. Sit with them in the waiting room. Be the calm presence in the room when the news is hard.

Emotional presence

Show up during hard weeks — grief, burnout, anxiety, life transitions. You listen, you stay present, you don't try to fix anything.

Neighborhood walks

Walk with a client through her neighborhood at night, or alongside her during a high-pressure errand or stressful situation.

Practical support

A grounded presence during a chaotic day. Practical and personal — without unsolicited advice or opinions.

Be clear on this

What this isn't.

This is not a dating or romantic role of any kind
This is not sexual or physically intimate beyond what clients explicitly request (a hand to hold, a hug) and companions explicitly consent to
This is not therapy or clinical support
This is not an on-demand gig where you set no limits
This is not right for everyone — and that's intentional

Who we're looking for

You might be a good fit if…

You are patient, emotionally steady, and a natural listener
You take professional boundaries seriously and don't test them
You are comfortable sitting with someone's difficult emotions without trying to fix them
You are reliable, punctual, and communicative
You believe women deserve structured, safe support — and you want to be part of building that

Who should not apply

If you are looking for romantic connection, physical intimacy, or a workaround to meet women — this platform is not for you. Applications are reviewed carefully and any misrepresentation results in permanent disqualification.

The vetting process

We take vetting seriously. So should you.

Approval is not guaranteed. We accept companions who meet our standards — not everyone who applies.

1
Government-issued ID verification
Identity verified via Persona. Takes under 10 minutes on your end.
2
Criminal history and sex offender registry screening
Full national background check via Checkr. Required for every companion, no exceptions. Any sex offense results in permanent disqualification.
3
Personal interview with the Heidi team
A 20–30 minute conversation. We want to know who you are and why you want to do this work.
4
Written Non-Sexual Services Agreement
You read and sign the agreement before your listing goes live. There are no exceptions to the nonsexual policy.
5
Orientation training
Self-paced training covering active listening, boundary-setting, client safety, and how to handle distress. Acknowledged in writing before approval.
