Heidi Platform, LLC · Effective date pending attorney review
By accessing or using the Heidi platform, whether as a client or a companion, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years of age. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
Heidi is a two-sided marketplace that connects clients — women, female-presenting individuals, and members of the LGBTQIA community — with vetted companions for nonsexual emotional support and companionship services. Services may include emotional companionship, calm presence during difficult medical visits, activity-based companionship, and platonic physical presence where explicitly agreed upon by both parties.
Heidi does not employ companions. Companions are independent contractors. Heidi is not a party to any agreement between a client and a companion and is not responsible for the conduct of either party during a session.
The Platform is strictly limited to nonsexual companionship and emotional support. The following are prohibited without exception: requesting, offering, negotiating, or engaging in any sexual act or service; using the Platform to arrange or facilitate contact outside the Platform for romantic or sexual purposes; any conduct that violates FOSTA-SESTA or any applicable law.
Violations result in immediate permanent account termination with no appeal.
All users agree to: treat every person on the Platform with dignity and respect; be honest in their profile and communications; arrive on time and cancel with at least 24 hours notice where possible; not record any session without explicit written consent of all parties; report any safety concern or boundary violation immediately via the in-app report tool.
Clients are charged for sessions at the time of booking. Payment is held and only captured after session completion. If a companion does not accept a booking within 2 hours, the booking is automatically cancelled and the client is not charged. Heidi retains an 18% platform fee on each completed session. Companions receive 82% of the session rate, paid out within 5 business days of session completion.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a session: full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% refund. No-shows: no refund. Heidi reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in cases of safety incidents or platform error.
Heidi takes safety seriously. Users are required to report any safety concern, boundary violation, or suspicious conduct immediately via the in-app report tool or by contacting info@pleaseheidi.com. Heidi will respond to all safety reports within 15 minutes during active session windows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heidi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform or any session facilitated through it. Heidi's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the session giving rise to the claim.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, in New York County, New York. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of New York County, New York.
Heidi reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and by posting updated Terms on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
